I have been digitizing the designs for the new solo dress all weekend. I love doing this! Such a fun challenge to try different ways to make things look the way I want. The dancer, her mother, and her grandmother came for a bodice fitting yesterday. They love the design (so glad) and we worked through all the rest of the dress details.

This pic is of the embroidery for the front skirt panel that will peek out from under the side swoops. This cross was great fun…I cannot draw myself so I had to search out many different claddagh drawings. Once I had looked at enough I was able to “draw” it out…rather proud of myself. Susan was going to draw one for me, but she was going out to dinner for Stan’s birthday and I was chomping the bit. Sent her my creation and she said, “Guess you don’t need me anymore!” Not so, Susan.

This is one of the flowers for the dress, sewn out. Rather cute, I think.

Just for fun, I have considered making pins out of the smaller designs. Could be cool. Like this knot…

…or this moon. Hmmm, jewelry by Taoknitter…it could happen!

😉 On the first read, I thought you wrote that you get a cut of the MOONPIE ’cause it’s ON your backside… not enough coffee yet!
